I changed the text "moderated fan fiction archives" to verdana, added a drop shadow to the main title. I also rounded the corners and made the pink and orange footer blend together more.

Thanks to Kit's suggestion, I also spaced the menu out so everyone is more spread out. Finally, I added a couple faded out paisley designs in the menu to add some subtle visual interest.

This version isn't a mock-up, but a screenshot of the HTML version I'm working on. I still have all my raw files, so I can make any changes necessary.

I'll probably begin laying out the actual web site skin tomorrow.
